Tutorial Quests
Tutorial Quests are given by the Tutor, whose home you will begin in. If you are from Kugnae you will begin the game in the home of Ironheart, if you are from Buya you will begin the game in the home of Jadespear. Each quest will give you experience, which is needed to gain insight (levels). Some of these quests will also give you items.

The Hunt
Foraging
Prey
Learn to Fish
The Art of Negotiating
The Knowledge of Wealth
The Covenant
By the Sea
Tiger's Essence
The Hunt...Rabbits
Killing rabbits is the first thing that your tutor will ask you to do as a new character within the Nexus. He will give you a Wooden saber and tell you how to equip it, then send you naked into the city with your weapon. You are asked to kill 10 rabbits, though you can kill more to get extra rabbit meat and experience. The rabbit meat will come in handy later on for healing yourself when fighting against Squirrels. The only hard part about killing these rabbits is the simple fact that they will run from you if you don't kill them in one hit. :) Upon returning to the tutor and clicking on the Hunt once again, you will receive 50 experience points for your efforts. You will also receive some clothing that you can wear in public ;)
Foraging...Chestnuts
The easiest of all of the Tutorial Quests is the gathering of Chestnuts. Simply click on F1, then Tour Please, then Buya, then Warrior's Guild. You will arrive inside the Guild Hall for warriors in Buya, and need only walk down to get outside the building. You will see many squirrels outside, but Chestnuts appear on the ground in this area. You need only collect 5, but you can carry up to 50. They sell for the same price as Acorns and are a good way to make a little bit of extra cash. Completion of this 'quest' will give you another 50 experience points.
Prey...Squirrels
After getting the quest for Chestnuts, you will be able to get a quest to kill squirrels. You will be asked to kill 10 of the pesky little rodents in order to complete this part of the quest. The easiest way to do this quickly is to get this quest right after getting your Chestnut quest. Kill the squirrels (be sure to gather the acorns they drop, as you'll need them later) and gather the chestnuts at the same time, then return to the tutor for experience on both quests. This quest will rack up another 50 experience points and will also prompt the tutor to give you a Novice sword.
Learn to Fish...
Clicking on this next option will prompt the tutor to tell you where to find the local fisherman of each city, Kugnae and Buya. He will also tell you that he will give you a little gold if you can bring him a Tiny fish. Simply find the fisherman of your choice (the easiest one to find is by going to the Palace at Buya, then walking down to the ledge of land, then to the right) and say "I want to fish" to him. Keep trying until you catch a Tiny fish. Return to the Tutor and you will receive 10 gold coins for the fish, plus 50 experience for the quest.
The Art of Negotiating...
The tutor will give you 20 gold coins and tell you to buy Scale mail from the Smith. The Scale mail will cost you 10 coins. For completing this quest you receive the Scale mail, the 10 leftover coins, and 100 experience.
The Knowledge of Wealth...
You will be given 5 pieces of Rabbit meat, and will be told to sell them to the butcher. Before returning, however, you must buy a piece of Bird meat for the tutor. Each piece of Rabbit meat will bring you 1 coin, a total of 5 coins, 4 of which you will be spending right away on the tutor's Bird meat. For completing this quest you will receive 100 experience and the extra coin. (For future reference, the Butcher at KaMing's Encampment buys meats for higher prices).
The Covenant...
The tutor will now teach you how to make yourself 'sociable', by turning your grouping feature on. He will also teach you how to group other people with you, so that experience is divided among each member. As a rule of thumb, however, it is best not to group someone before asking their permission. You will have to kill 12 Deer (the ones with Antlers) in order to finish this quest. This is quite easy, however, as all the deer with antlers stand still now. You simply beat them to death without worry, as they will not hit back. If the dear drops an Antler, pick it up (divide them when in groups). Antlers can be sold for 10 coins a piece, or can be used to help replenish your vitality (hit points) when it is a little low. For completing this quest you will receive 200 experience points.
By the Sea...Aiding Chu Rua
The tutor will transport you to an area called Dae Shore. Walk up until you see the turtle in the water. Click on the turtle and click all the way through everything that he has to say to you. He will tell you of the dying Sea King who needs a piece of Young ginseng root in order to survive, and that in return for your help you will receive a jewel of the sea. He will also tell you not to attack the animals of this area, but to speak with them instead. After he has nothing more to say to you, walk up into the next area. There will be a rabbit here. Say "hello" to the rabbit and he will respond. Next say "ginseng" and the rabbit will tell you about his foolish quest for the root that led him to a tiger. Now walk up into the next screen once again. Keep going until you arrive at an area where the paths splits to the left and the right. Follow the left path and keep walking upward until you get to an area with a tiger in it. Say "rabbit" and the tiger will ask where the rabbit went. Click on "Forest" and the tiger will disappear. Go to the patch of grass in the top left corner of the area to collect your ginseng. Go back to the turtle and click on him. You will be rewarded with a Sea ring and 500 experience points.
Tiger's Essence
Tiger's Essence may only be done by warriors, and only after they have chosen to walk the path of the warrior. First, you will need to buy War platemail from the Smith (it's listed under the Peasant Clothes category). Then, go to the East gate of Buya and walk down until you see a cave just off the path, with steps leading down to it. Walk into the cave to find the tiger, Chonsah. Say "chongun" and Chonsah will embue your armor with his essence, turning it into Tiger Mail. Female warriors must also buy the War platemail (even though they cannot wear it) and Chonsah will turn it into Tigress. You must be at least level 6 for this to work. You will be told to return at level 10. This is an ongoing quest for warriors, and each Tiger mail (or Tigress) adds more vitality to your maximum, but only when it is worn. You will need to buy each stage of platemail as you reach the level to wear it, and 4 levels after that you will be able to turn it into Tiger mail or Tigress when you present your previous Tiger/Tigress armor and the other requested items to Chonsah. Chonsah can, however, only enchant your armor up until you are in Earth platemail. Once you have your Star, Moon or Sun mail you will be unable to receive this help from the tiger any longer.
